The Carrot River Outback Thunder have hired Kolton Holmen as their Associate Coach for the 2019-2020 season. Kolton will join Luke Folk on the bench to assist in all coaching duties. We want to welcome Kolton back to the Thunder after a 7-year career between the pipes with the Thunder. Kolton has been a backbone for the Thunder for many years through his strong play and leadership capabilities.
The Thunder have had a lot of great hockey players and strong groups in prior years, and Kolton has had a lot to do with that. We believe his knowledge and experience within the PJHL is invaluable, along with his understanding of the game itself makes him the perfect fit to be the Associate Coach of the Thunder. We want to thank Kolton for his dedication to the team over the past several years, and for continuing that further in a coaching position.
