The Carrot River Outback Thunder has traded Colin Van Kommer (#11) to the Regina Silver Foxes in exchange for future considerations. Good luck Colin.
The Carrot River Outback Thunder have logged their first win with a shut out 4-0 win versus the Delisle Chiefs. The first period saw Drayden Ukrainietz with the help of Nick Peterson and Austin Linnen take the 1-0 lead for the Thunder at 4:05 left int he period. The second period while action packed with 10 penalties the Thunder held off the Chiefs scoring anything, however the Chiefs did the same to the Thunder with zero goals being scored by anyone. In the Third the Thunder were able to put away three more goals to seal the deal, with the goals being scored by Justin Cay and Levi Logan. AP Grady Genaille was then able to make it 4-0 with an empty net goal. Kolton Holmen stopped all 34 shots he faced tonight giving the Thunder their first win and shut out of the season!!

In accordance with PJHL Rule #15.02, the PJHL suspends Callen Simons for two games as a result of the major penalty he received during the game on October 14, 2016.
